Terms of Service

The legal contract between you and StudioCut.Video. We try to keep it short.

Contents

1. The service

StudioCut.Video provides an AI-driven video production platform with supporting infrastructure (renderer, workflow orchestration, object storage).

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping credentials safe, for activity on your account, and for ensuring your use complies with applicable law. MFA is strongly recommended; required on Enterprise plans.

3. Intellectual property & AI content

You retain ownership of your inputs (articles, brand assets, scripts) and the videos generated from them. You grant us a limited licence to process those inputs solely to operate the service. AI-generated assets are subject to the underlying provider's terms; see Integrations.

4. Acceptable use

You won't use the service to generate illegal content, infringing material, deceptive deepfakes of real people without consent, or content that violates the policies of the publishing platforms you target. We may suspend accounts that breach this section.

5. Subscription terms

Plans are monthly or annual. Upgrades are prorated; downgrades take effect at next renewal. Your card is charged automatically on the billing date. Failure to pay may result in suspension.

6. Pricing changes

We may change prices with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers keep their current price for the remainder of their term.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

8. Warranty disclaimer

The service is provided "as is". AI output is probabilistic — you are responsible for review before publication. We disclaim implied warranties to the extent permitted by law.

9. Termination

You can cancel anytime from Settings → Subscription. We can terminate for breach with notice. On termination, you can export your content for 30 days before deletion.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction stated in your invoice. Disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction.

11. Changes

We'll notify you of material changes by email or in-app. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
