Libraries & Reusable Settings

Brand Library

A brand preset is a saved bundle of every branding setting — colours, fonts, logo, music mood, CTA, special requirements. Apply one in the wizard's Branding step and all those fields fill in instantly.

Open it from the sidebar Brand Library entry. After ~5 minutes of one-time setup, the wizard's Step 3 becomes a single click.

Why this exists

Without a preset, every new production means re-picking 5 colours, 2 fonts, a music mood, typing in your CTA, etc. After ~10 productions that's hours of repeated clicks. With a preset:

  • Wizard Step 3 takes 2 seconds.
  • Every video looks identical without effort.
  • Switching brands (e.g. agency working for multiple clients) is one dropdown change.

The library page

The page shows your brand presets as cards. Each card has:

  • Logo preview — a gradient thumbnail blending Primary → Secondary colour, with the logo image overlaid if uploaded.
  • 5-colour palette swatches — Primary, Secondary, Accent, Background, Text.
  • Preset name and brand name.
  • CTA (if set).
  • Chips showing fonts, music mood, and target duration.
  • Special requirements — truncated; full text on hover.
  • Agency badge — if this preset is shared from your agency.
  • Edit and Delete buttons (hover-revealed).

Top of page: a search box (by preset name) and a + New Preset button.

Creating a preset

Click + New Preset. The modal has these fields:

FieldRequiredNotes
Preset nameYesInternal — not used in videos.
Brand nameNoAppears in lower-thirds and outros.
Call-to-actionNo"Subscribe", "Visit example.com", etc.
Primary / Secondary / Accent / Background / Text colourNo (defaults provided)Colour picker + hex input for each.
Heading font / Body fontNoFree text inputs — type the font family name (placeholder "e.g. Montserrat" / "e.g. Open Sans"). Whatever the renderer can resolve will be used.
Music moodNo11 options.
Target durationNoDefault video length (in seconds) when this preset is applied — a number input. Plan limits still apply at production time.
Special requirementsNoFree-text — applies to every production using this preset.
LogoNoUpload PNG/SVG (preview shown; delete button to remove).
DescriptionNoFree text for your own reference.

Save writes the preset; it appears as a new card immediately.

Editing a preset

Hover any card → click Edit. Same modal as creation, with all fields pre-filled. Saving does not retroactively change videos already produced — the preset values were copied into each production at creation time.

Deleting a preset

Hover → Delete → confirm. Productions that previously used the preset are unaffected (they hold their own copy of the values). The preset just disappears from the picker.

Applying a preset in the wizard

In Step 3 — Branding of the Create Wizard, the Brand Preset dropdown at the top lists every preset you have access to. Pick one and:

  • All 5 colour swatches are filled.
  • Heading and body fonts are set.
  • CTA is filled.
  • Music mood is selected.
  • Special requirements is filled.
  • Logo (if any) is attached to the production.

You can still tweak any field after applying — the values are copied, not linked.

There's also a Save current settings as new preset button on the same step — fast way to capture a one-off you tweaked manually.

Real scenarios

Scenario A — Agency with three brands

An agency runs videos for three clients: a fintech, a fitness app, and a SaaS tool.

They create three presets: "FinTechCo — official", "FitApp — energetic", "SaaSCo — corporate". Each has client-supplied colours, fonts, logo, and CTA.

Every new production: wizard Step 3 → pick the matching preset → done. The team never argues about "what shade of blue is FinTechCo's?" again.

Scenario B — Creator iterating on a look

A YouTube creator is mid-iteration on their channel branding. Week 1 they save "v1". Week 4 they decide v1 looked too cluttered and create "v2" with simplified colours and a different body font. Old videos still match v1; new ones match v2.

Scenario C — Sharing across an agency

Agency admin creates a preset → ticks the agency-share toggle (agency context) → every member sees it in their Brand Library with an agency badge.

Tips & gotchas

  • Logo with transparency wins. PNGs with proper alpha channels render cleanly across coloured scenes. Logos on a white square will look like a white square.
  • Music mood is a starting point, not a lock. It's used as the default in productions; you can override per production.
  • Target duration is preset-suggested, not enforced. The wizard's duration slider still respects platform and plan caps.
  • Editing a preset doesn't change past productions. Productions snapshot the values at creation time. To update old videos, re-create them.
  • The agency badge means "shared, not editable by everyone". Only agency admins can edit/delete agency-shared presets.
  • Special requirements is the most-underused field. Use it to encode rules like "Always include captions / subtitles" or "Avoid all stock footage of people" — they apply to every video using the preset.
